Тема урока: «Достопримечательности
Лондона»

Цель урока: Обобщение и
систематизация знаний учащихся по теме:
«Достопримечательности Лондона».

Задачи урока:

  • Активизировать употребление лексики по теме:
    «Достопримечательности Лондона».
  • Развитие навыков диалогической речи.
  • Развитие социокультурной компетенции.
  • Расширение общего и страноведческого кругозора
    учащихся.
  • Контроль и оценка знаний и умений учащихся по
    теме: » Достопримечательности Лондона «.

Тип урока: Урок обобщения и
систематизации знаний.

Методы: объяснительно-иллюстративный,
репродуктивный, частично-поисковый.

Формы: общеклассная, индивидуальная,
работа в парах.

Средства: интерактивная доска,
проектор, компьютер, слайды, тетради.

Структура урока:

  1. Организационный момент.
  2. Актуализация знаний.
  3. Систематизация знаний.
  4. Итог урока.

Ход урока

Организационный момент.

T: Good morning, learners!

P: Good morning, teacher!

T: Glad to see you again, sit down, please! How are you today?

P: We are fine, thanks! And how are you?

T: I’m fine, thank you. Who is on duty today? What date is it today?
What day is it today? What season is it now? Who is absent today? Today we’ll speak
about the sights of London.

Фонетическая зарядка.

T: Look at the slide. Listen to me and repeat after me these sounds and words:

Учащиеся слушают учителя и повторяют за ним
звуки и слова с этими звуками. Затем учащиеся
самостоятельно произносят звуки и читают слова.

Речевая зарядка.

T: Now, let’s play the game «Agree or disagree». Listen to my
sentences, please. Repeat my statement if you agree with me and correct it if you disagree
with me.

Учащиеся играют в игру «Согласись или не
согласись». Ученик повторяет утверждение
учителя, если он согласен с ним, и исправляет
утверждение, если он не согласен с ним.

T: London is the capital of Great Britain.

P: I agree with you. London is the capital of Great Britain.

T: Big Ben is in London.

P: I agree with you. Big Ben is in London.

T: The Queen lives in the Tower of London.

P: I disagree with you. The Queen lives in Buckingham Palace.

T: Westminster Abbey was built by King Edward.

P: I agree with you. Westminster Abbey was built by King Edward.

T: The Queen has two birthdays.

P: I agree with you. The Queen has two birthdays.

T: Nelson’s column is in Trafalgar Square.

P: I agree with you. Nelson’s column is in Trafalgar Square.

T: The official residence of Prime Ministers is Downing Street, 10.

P: I agree with you. The official residence of Prime Ministers is
Downing Street, 10.

Проверка домашнего задания.

T: Now it’s time to check up your homework. You have prepared the
dialogues about London and now you have two minutes to remember them. Your time is up. Who
is ready to start?

Учащиеся повторяют диалоги из домашнего
задания в течение 2 минут. Затем учитель
предлагает ученикам по очереди разыграть
диалоги.

Активизация навыков устной речи по теме:
«Достопримечательности Лондона».

T: Now look at the slide. Here you can see the descriptions of some
sights in London. Listen to my stories and name the sights.

  1. It is very old. It has a long and cruel history. You can see it from the river Thames.
    It is not just one building. Many years ago the Kings and the Queens of Britain lived in
    this place. (The Tower of London)
  2. It stands near the Houses of Parliament. It is really a bell. It weighs 13,720
    kilograms. It has a deep tone and you can hear it on the radio. It is a famous clock. (Big
    Ben)
  3. London’s largest and most famous cathedral, built by Sir Christopher Wren. (St.
    Paul’s Cathedral)
  4. They stand beside the river Thames. You can also see them from Westminster Abbey. The
    country’s leaders speak at this place. The famous clock Big Ben stands near them. (The
    Houses of Parliament)
  5. London residence of the Queen, the principal seat of the monarchy. (Buckingham Palace)
  6. It is not far from the Houses of Parliament. It is a symbol of England. It was founded
    by St. Peter and built by King Edward in 1065. Some famous people are buried there.
    (Westminster Abbey)
  7. It includes an amazing collection of British and foreign Art with antiquities. (British
    Museum)
